January doesn’t have to be dry, dull or beige. This year, we’re kicking off 2026 the only way we know how: with bold flavours, big ideas and beers built by the people who matter most. Our community.
Introducing three brand-new launches landing this January, each one brewed on our Pilot Kit in Ellon or born from collaboration, conversation and collective chaos.
Crew Brew. Home Brew. Hop Topic.
Beers voted for, brewed by, and made with our crew and our EFP community at the heart of it all. Let’s get into it.
Crew Brew is democracy in liquid form. We asked our General Managers to pick from a selection of recipes. Their answer is now in a can. This is what happens when the inmates run the asylum, and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. A Double Dry Hopped NEIPA absolutely loaded with New Zealand hops, Crew Brew explodes with grapefruit, mango and citrus straight out of the gate. Hazy, juicy and brewed by popular demand, it’s proof that the best ideas don’t come from boardrooms – they come from the people pulling pints, brewing beer and making BrewDog what it is.
Next up, Home Brew. Brewed by you. Perfected by us. This one’s a community champion in the truest sense, dreamt up by Finlay from Fife in his local BrewDog bar, voted for by our EFP community and dialled all the way up to 8.6%. Loosely based on our fan favourite, 5AM Saint this beer doesn’t mess about. Finlay has been brewing in his kitchen for years, but considers this one his best creation yet. Expect bold waves of guava, zesty pomelo and lush apricot crashing headfirst into toasted malts and chewy toffee notes. Big, unapologetic and bursting with flavour, this is the people’s beer with zero compromise. Maximum flavour. A craft community distilling into a can.
Rounding out the trio is Hop Topic, a collaboration IPA brewed with our friends at Accidental Brewery. Because great beer is better when it’s shared. This bold, tropical IPA is bursting with juicy flavour, thanks to a hop bill stacked with Citra and Nectaron. Think mango, passionfruit and citrus zest wrapped up in a full-bodied, hazy hit of sunshine. Refreshing, vibrant and a true reflection of what can happen when great breweries put their heads together, this is collaboration done right.
These January launches aren’t about trends or ticking boxes. They’re about listening, experimenting and handing the keys to the people who make this community what it is – our crew, our EFPs, and our fellow brewers.
Three beers. One community. And a January that’s anything but dry. Cheers to that.
